Lorrie Brown, LEED AP

Lorrie's work as a designer reflects her love for materials, color and texture as well as an extensive knowledge of building and mechanical systems developed over years of work as a project manager.

Lorrie grew up in Connecticut and attended Smith College. She studied film at Harvard's Carpenter School of Visual Arts and pursued a career as a production designer before receiving her master's in architecture from UCLA.

She began her architectural career in Los Angeles working on residential and multi-unit loft developments. She later worked for the City of Santa Monica overseeing the design and construction of park, library, theatre, and other municipal facility projects.

Prior to forming Davis Brown Architecture, Lorrie served as a senior project manager on large scale school, retail, hospitality, and adaptive reuse projects at Osborn Architects and Gensler.
